Gretchen’s Get Well Fund

Hi! To everyone who knows my mom, she pours her love and energy into each person she meets in her life, from family to friends to a complete stranger.

Saturday evening, she was rushing to get the mailman a lemonade (very on brand, right?) and had a bad slip.

Fortunately, the break wasn’t too extreme, but did require surgery. She’s a bionic woman now with a rod and 2 screws in her leg! The only thing we’re struggling with at the moment is keeping her heart rate down when she starts walking.

My mom has worked so hard for us 4 children, working at full time for 30 years. She’s always put others before herself. While she’s healing, I want to make sure she’s feeling comfortable as well as not having to worry about other house bills that have already been a heavy burden on the family.

For my birthday, I’d love any contribution to my mom's speedy recovery and to anything that can help her have peace of mind.
