(GRCAI of Chicago Film Project - Hood Liberator)

Tax deductible
My name is Emmanuel Barbee I am the founder and President of the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago. After 15 years of being overlooked and rejected by established black organizations in Chicago I decided to write and publish my story "The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America" second edition in hopes of generating enough capital to get my nonprofit faith based and community advocacy organization (The Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago) up and running. I also tried to use my online talkshow (Help Stop The Genocide In American Ghettos Podcast) to help raise funds for our nonprofit all we got was little to no support. Now I am taking my story to the big screen (Hood Liberator Made In Chicago The War Against Willie Lynch Begins). This film is based on my revised book and this film project is my last attempt to try to do something positive for my racial group in America.

We need all hands on deck without support from the Black Grass Roots, the Global African Family and Nonblack Sympathizers then we are unable to do our job. Our goal is to raise Five Hundred Thousand dollars so that we can can be in a better position financially to hire professional production company and hire quality actors for this docu-drama.

GRCAI of Chicago mission to eradicate Urban Violence in Chicago through Arts, Culture, Commerce, Spiritual Development and hosting African & Caribbean tours. The proceeds from the film will help turn my vision and plan into a reality starting in Chicago. We will use the principles from my revised book to empower our students and our members so that they can develop indispensable skills as successful black entrepreneurs and black business leaders thus equipping them to transform the black community into a healthy stable place for our children to live.

GRCAI of Chicago will be a multi-purpose facility in the Black Community beginning on the Westside of Chicago. We will cover Austin, Garfield Park and North Lawndale. In time we will expand to the Southside of Chicago. We will offer quality programs and services which will strengthen the black family while improving the black community. GRCAI of Chicago will operate under 7 separate functions which are as follows:

1. A Social Service component
2. A Spiritual component (optional for secular people)
3. A Political component
4. An Entertainment component
5. An Entrepreneur component
6. A Black Media component (New Black Voices of Media)
7. A Health and Wellness component

It’s my hope that the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago will become a Hub throughout the Mid-west for emerging Black Artists and Black Entrepreneurs. We also plan on hosting African tours to reconnect the Diaspora with Continental Africans in 10 African nations they are as follows: Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Angola, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Uganda. We will also launch Caribbean tours from the Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti, Jamaica and Trinidad as well as Brazil. You can make a difference by donating today to the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute of Chicago Film Project.
