On Thursday, December, 22, 2023, ihad a major heart attack. I arrived at the ER of Russell hospital in Alexander City, AL and was immediately air lifted to East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika Alabama. Test we done and it was quickly found that all 3 of the arteries that supply blood to my heart were clogged. All of this was a direct result of my smoking for over 30 years. The morning of the 23rd. I underwent triple bypass surgery. The surgery was successful and I came through it without issue. I was released from the hospital on the 26th and sent home to recover. I will also go to physical rehab at least 36 times as tye full recovery will take 8-12 weeks.
Here lies my problem and where I need your help. The medical bill are not an issue. I have good insurance so the bills will get paid quickly and my deductible won't be an issue.
The problem is the 8-12 weeks for recover thT u will be out of work. Though my health insurance is good, I do not have any long-term or short-term disability insurance. I am asking for any help that will allow to keep the bills paid and food on the table till I am able to go back to work and I am the only source of income in my home. My wife does not work.
