Shannon and Jason need our help!!!!

My wonderful and loving cousin Shannon and her husband Jason need help right now.

Eight months ago, Shannon earned her real estate license and was so excited to partner with her mom, Connie Hall. Connie started selling real estate in the 1970s as a single mother and provided a good life for her two daughters, Shannon and Tuesday. Shannon and Connie were inseparable and had high hopes for their business.

 

Then cancer hit. Connie was on watch for it and was due to get regular screenings. Covid made getting routine scans almost impossible. When she finally got a scan this past summer, it was too late. She was diagnosed with a rare, untreatable form of cancer that metastasized to her lungs. She had six months left to live. It seemed impossible that our Connie, so loving, vibrant and adventurous, could be taken from us so soon.

 

There was nothing Shannon or Tuesday could do for Connie except love her, be with her and try to make their beloved mom and best friend comfortable.

 

Shannon cleared out a room in her house, decorated it in all shades of purple (her mom's favorite) and convinced Connie to move in. Shannon dedicated herself to her care.

Jason dedicated himself to caring for Shannon and Connie by supporting them with his work. In December, due to the effect of the omicron variant on the film industry, Jason's work came to a halt.

 

On February 28th, Connie passed away in her room at Shannon's house. We are lucky that Connie was able to hold on for eight months. We are grateful for every extra hour and minute she was here. Her body couldn't hold on, but her light and love live on in our memories. Our hearts.

 

Now wrapped in horrible grief, Shannon and Jason are months behind on their mortgage and many other bills. They need relief from this burden. Friends and family have asked how they can help. This is it. Let's help them out so they can move forward and find their way back to stability.
