Godgift is a beautiful baby girl born 3 months ago in Monrovia, Liberia. When she was born it was noted that she had Spina Bifida, a genetic condition where part of your spinal cord is on the outside of your body. A surgical procedure can be done to fix this condition.

A colleague of mine was serving with an NGO in Monrovia, when this young mom brought her baby in. The NGO did not have the means to help her, and unfortunately there is no hospital in Liberia that has the ability to treat babies with this condition. My colleague got me in touch with another member of the NGO who really wanted to help this baby. 

She contacted me, and through lots of hard work and social media, we have been able to find a hospital in Kenya, that specializes in this type of care. Currently, the passports are done, Ji is working on visas, and hopefully this little angel can receive the care she needs in the next month.
