Go! Sami, Go!

Please take minute to meet Sami, a strong little warrior, and her dedicated, amazing Mama, Diane. Sami was born in 2004, with Down’s Syndrome. She had to have two heart surgeries, which she quickly healed from, and proved at a very young age what a little fighter she is. Diane is a single-mother who is financially responsible for herself, Sami, and Lala Jenny, Sami’s grandmother.

 Last week, Sami was diagnosed with pneumonia, and was admitted to Children’s Hospital, where she is being closely monitored for the infection in her lungs. Diane has had to take a leave of absence from work to care for Sami, and eats, sleeps and showers at the hospital, so as to never leave Sami’s side.

 So many of you have asked how you can help- the prayers and support have been helpful and are felt warmly. If there is even a small amount that you can donate to help with Diane’s expenses during this difficult time, any amount would be so appreciated.
