<update JULY 2025>
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Thomas on June 10th, 2025. He passed away peacefully at home, holding my mother Fulvia’s hand. In his final moments, he never looked away from her—his love was steady until the very end.
This past month has been one of deep grief and reflection for our family. I want to sincerely apologize for not updating sooner—we needed time to process, mourn, and just be with each other. My mother is heartbroken but finding strength in being around her grandchildren and staying busy with work. Thomas may be gone physically, but he continues to live on in our hearts and memories every day.
When we first started this fundraiser, our dream was to raise $300,000 to help Fulvia retire and spend quality time with Thomas. That dream changed when Thomas’s health declined rapidly. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $3,000, and while we didn’t reach the full goal, we are beyond grateful. That support helped ease the financial burden of saying goodbye.
Here’s a breakdown of the final expenses:
• Cemetery and burial costs at Gethsemane: $7,000 (covered by my mother, me and BOEING CO WORKERS)
• Cremation services in Kent, WA (arranged by Thomas’s father at Marla’s): $4,900
Your donations helped contribute toward these costs, and we truly couldn’t have managed it without you.
This page will remain up as a space to remember Thomas and support my mom as she starts this next chapter of life without him. Thank you, from all of us, for your support, your messages, and your love.
