This is Moose—a gentle, affectionate tabby who is my best friend Rach’s most beloved and trusted companion. Moose isn’t just a pet; he’s a source of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. Anyone who meets him instantly falls in love with his sweet nature.

Rach has spent 12 years growing up with this boy and won’t stop anytime soon.

A few months ago, we discovered a lump on Moose’s throat and brought him to the vet, hoping for clear answers and treatment options. We were told it was likely nothing serious and to simply monitor it. Unfortunately, the lump has continued to grow and doubled in size with a rupture.

Right now, Moose is still playful, bright, and full of life. He jumps, explores, cuddles, and plays with our other cat as if nothing is wrong. But if the lump continues to enlarge without proper medical care, it could eventually lead to serious complications to Moose’s quality of life.

Treatment and removal are estimated to cost between $1,500 and $2,500, which is more than we can manage on our own.

The source of this lump stems from a dental infection that was not caught quickly enough, and will need a procedure as well. This is why we’re reaching out for help,
