My oldest and best friend, the strongest woman I know, Gina Malkiewicz is once again putting on her warrior armor and battling cancer!  This time around she’s dealing with Stage 4 metastatic ovarian cancer.  On Monday October 15th, two days before her 50th birthday, a trip to the ER for severe stomach pain revealed masses covering her liver and lungs.  As the doctors put it “There are too many masses to count”.   Being the warrior she is her response was “The Fight Is On..... Again!”   Looking at all the options she’s going with the statistics and opting for Alternative treatment which unfortunately is not covered by insurance but by far has the highest rate of survival.    With her positive attitude, unwavering conviction and best friends in the world  by her side to help her through this she’s going to beat cancer once again!!
