Getting Muddy for Men's Mental Health
Donation protected
On Saturday 6th April, I will be embarking on a journey of resilience, endurance, and solidarity by participating in the Tough Mudder challenge, a gruelling obstacle course designed to test physical strength, mental grit, and teamwork. My participation is not just a personal challenge; it's a mission to shine a light on an issue that often remains in the shadows: men's mental health.
I am proud to represent Newlands House, St. Lawrence College in this endeavour, an institution that values the well-being of its community and understands the importance of mental health.
Men's mental health is a critical issue that affects millions worldwide, yet it remains underdiscussed. Through this challenge, I aim to raise awareness and funds to support mental health initiatives, specifically targeting the unique struggles faced by men. The journey through mud, water, and obstacles symbolizes the struggles many men face in silence, and my goal is to encourage open conversations and provide support to those in need.
Funds raised will be split between charities agreed in liaison with the Prefect Team of Newlands House at St Lawrence College.
