We are Monica, Sienna and Niamh, junior girl cricketers who play for the South Perth Junior Cricket Club (SPJCC). We are all really passionate about the game and female cricket in Australia. We are hoping to inspire other girls to join in the wonderful game and think of ourselves as good role models for the rise of girl’s cricket!!

This year we were invited to train as part of the WACA U13 development squad. A few weeks ago we were also selected in the WA state-school 12’s team to represent our Club and State at the National Championships. The Nationals are being held in Canberra in January 2017 from Jan 5th- 13th.

We recognise that it’s a huge honour to have been selected and a wonderful opportunity to step up our cricket. Whilst we are really grateful for the opportunity - it’s going to cost a lot to get us to Canberra for the weeklong tour, with flights, accommodation and compulsory uniforms being $2700 each. As WA players we have the biggest costs of any State team – flights alone are $770 each.

We are busy fundraising to meet some of these costs, but we are hoping you may be able to help. Any dollars you can donate will be greatly appreciated.  Please spread the word and help us fulfil our dreams....
