My name is Matthew Hetrick and my wife Lacey and I are raising money for our son, Jayden, to go to a another regional football competition.
Jayden is a 14-year-old honor roll student and an All American football player in the 8th grade. He loves the game and has a strong work ethic. He plays both defensive and offensive lineman. His dedication on and off the field has led to some amazing opportunities.
Recently, after being selected to play in a regional All American football event in Myrtle Beach, SC, Jayden stood out as one of the best and was chosen to compete at the Diamond Sports Group East vs. West game, a national All American event in Arizona, in just a few weeks. This is a huge honor and a chance for Jayden to gain national exposure—which could help him live his dream. But on such short notice, we have decided to try and get to the next event this summer in Virginia.
The funds raised will go directly toward our hotel, rental car, airfare, food, registration fees, and any additional equipment he needs. It will also help pay for action photos that he can use in his recruiting profile, which could be a big step toward earning a college scholarship.
I normally wouldn’t ask, but my wife and I would greatly appreciate any help to get Jayden to Virginia. This opportunity could truly change his life and help him live his dream of playing football in college. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement—it means the world to our family.
