Gary Baumann's Long Term Care
Donazione protetta
This tragic story is Gary's.
Imagine how hard you have worked throughout your lifetime searching, achieving happiness and always just
the right amount of success, when suddenly in your very first retirement year, that achievement and happiness is suddenly, tragically taken from you.
Gary's wife Janet tragically killed in a horrific New Hampshire roadway accident. Retired for less than 4
months and having a time of renewal with Gary ended
September 13 with Gary at her side. Gary, rescued and
whisked to a Maine Trauma unit to begin what amounted to a life saving effort. That day the hospital bill was 85,000.00. That youth that hit them head on was uninsured and Gary's medical liability benefit ended some time ago.
Currently Gary after 3 health facility relocations is fighting the very difficult fight of his life.... emotions aside, as he recovers from the trauma of no less than a dozen broken bones including jaw, legs and arms. He took his first steps 4 months to the date of that september tragedy just last week.
We are asking for your help with health care payments and hopefully down the road with advancing some quality of life.
He welcomes words of encouragement too at the Woodridge Nursing home in Berlin Vt.
Gary is a former Long Island Golf Course superintendent at the St. Georges Country club in
Setauket, NY
Janet is a retired nurse and administrator at Stony Brook University Hospital. she leaves behind her
joy, son Eric of Holtsville.
