Greetings, Gal XC Friends, Family and Community!

We are proud to announce that Galileo’s Cross Country Team is headed to Los Angeles. The Varsity Boys Team and two individual girls will be competing at the famous Mt. Sac Invitational (https://runmtsac.com/invite/) in Walnut, California on Friday, 10/20. This invitational offers our athletes a chance to run on one of the most grueling courses in the State, and against some of the best competitors in the country.

The Galileo varsity athletes trained hundreds of miles over the summer and have been running 30-50 miles per week since the season started in mid-August. They’ve worked hard, stayed healthy, supported each other, and are now pumped up ready to compete in California's biggest cross country invitational.

We need your support to make this trip happen. Your donation will help pay for the team's transportation costs, lodging, substitute coverage for teachers/coaches, and race entry fees; we can also ensure that all runners are equipped with necessary racing shoes.
