We at Angus Cat Rescue are delighted that Gair is taking part in the Dundee Kiltwalk on Sunday 17th August to raise much needed funds for the Cats and Kittens in the rescue.
Monies received into the rescue are used 100% for the care of the cats and kittens we are all volunteers who foster in our homes so we do not pay for premises or huge salaries our main cost is our vets bill and closely followed by food and litter.
All the cats and kittens that come into our care are firstly health checked by our vets, they are neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms as a minimum. Then we have some that require dentals, various tests and the list goes on all very dependant on each individual that comes into our care.
We also have our permanent foster cats who continue to stay under the rescue for veterinary care due to health issues that cannot be resolved. This situation also allows those who don't have the resources to pay vets bills to have the best of both worlds and give the cats a fantastic loving home,
Every penny raised is used for what it is intended for the cats and kittens.
Please if you can spare a £1 or 2 to help Gair raise vital funds for the rescue
