Supporting Ricardo During an Unexpected Medical Emergency

I’m starting this GoFundMe for my best friend, Ricardo, who is currently recovering from an unexpected surgery at Seton Medical Center on 38th Street in Austin, Texas.

If you know Ricardo, you know he’s one of those people who never stops giving. He’s a hardworking musician who juggles multiple jobs just to make ends meet, and when he’s not working, he pours his heart and soul into his band, Gran Moreno. Music isn’t just a passion for Ricardo — it’s his purpose, and he gives everything he has to it and to the people around him.

Unfortunately, this sudden medical situation has left Ricardo unable to work while he recovers. With no ability to earn income right now, he’s facing mounting medical bills and the everyday costs of rent, food, and basic necessities — all while focusing on healing.
