Support a Mother Facing Homelessness

As many of you know, my mom has been struggling for quite some time. She’s fought homelessness for many years as well as disabilities and mental health issues and has had a very hard time staying on her feet.

She’s had an apartment now for a couple of years but is struggling to keep food on her table and keep up with rent and utilities. Our family has done all that we can and think it is time to ask for our community's help. We have all struggled at some point in our lives and do our best to help her with what we can. She is struggling pretty bad right now and is at risk of being homeless again and losing all that she has. We are asking family and friends who find it in their hearts to help donate so she may keep her apartment and to help her get some groceries and to keep her bills paid for the time being until we can get her further assistance. My mom has 4 kids and one granddaughter and we would be heartbroken to see her face homelessness again. Any donation would be greatly appreciated but also sharing if you are not able to donate.

I just wanna thank everyone that has helped us support my mom this week and that has donated to her gofundme. We are truly blessed for you all. You have no idea how much weight this takes off our shoulders. We were able to fill up her fridge today, pay some bills and get her a bus pass with all of your help. We know how stubborn she can be and how much she procrastinates but we are leading her in the right direction to stay housed and fed. I will be sharing her gofundme again just to get her a little more help with money for groceries for when she runs out or whatever essential items she might need. Also I just wanted to note that the money is being handled by family so she doesn’t spend it on things she doesn’t need. We love you all and appreciate every one of you!
