We are the Fort Myers Fusion 12U Baseball Team, and we have been invited to play in the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament (CDPT) in the summer of 2019. We've been playing ball since we could walk, and we plan to continue playing for as long as possible. While we all hope to reach the Major Leagues one day, we also realize that this may be our only chance to play in a "Major League style" tournament, potentially against some future Hall of Famers! We have won 4 tournaments and have come in 2nd place three times so far during our 2019 season.
The tournament is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, where teams from all across the country play each other throughout the week. As kids, Bryce Harper, Mike Trout, and David Price played in the CDPT before their rise to fame in the Major Leagues. We are hoping to follow in their footsteps, but we need YOUR help!
The cost for such an amazing week-long experience costs about $20,000. This cost includes seven days of meals and accommodations for 15 players, 4 coaches, and 1 umpire, seven guaranteed games, umpire fees, uniforms, laundry service, American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Tournament rings, tickets to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, trading pins, and much more!
The Fort Myers Fusion 12U Baseball Team are under the 501(c)3 umbrella, which means that we are considered a non-profit organization. All donations received will go directly towards defraying the cost of our trip to Cooperstown Dreams Park in the summer of 2019. No donation is too small!
This will be a dream come true for all of us, and an experience that we’ll remember forever. On behalf of the 12U Fort Myers Fusion Baseball Team, we would like to thank you in advance for helping us achieve this once in a lifetime dream on our journey to Cooperstown and not just for one of us but for all of us!
