Funeral and Medical Expenses for Bryan Jr.

On September 9, 2020 Ieesha and Bryan welcomed their beautiful baby boy Bryan Matthew Cucullu Jr. He was Mama’s and Daddy’s sweet boy and Bubba to his Big sister Maddie. He was a quiet calm and loving baby. He loved to eat and be swaddled. After four wonderful days at home with his momma, daddy and sissy, Matthew became very ill. He was taken to the hospital in Picayune and then rushed to Children’s Hospital New Orleans. He was rushed into emergency surgery for stomach issues. It was discovered during surgery that Matthew had short gut syndrome.  After discovering this and talking to the GI doctors, it was revealed that Matthew’s prognosis was not good. Because of the damage to the small intestines, most had to be removed during surgery. Without a transplant Matthew would not make it. It was decided that the surgery and traveling involved would be to hard on his small body. Being bound to life support and in pain would not be fair to him and so his parents have made the difficult decision to let their angel go be with the Lord in heaven.
We are asking for donations to help Bryan and Ieesha during this difficult time. Donations will go towards helping with funeral and medical expenses for Matthew. Any little bit helps and we are appreciative and thankful for all of the love and support they receive. Update 9-30-2020: Services for Bryan Matthew Cucullu, Jr. will be held on Monday, October 5th at 2:00pm at White Funeral Home (315 Highway 11 South, Poplarville, MS, 39470). Visitation will be held from 12pm - 2pm.
