The Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps (Registered Charity No: 1177736) has been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity—to represent the England at the USA’s 250th anniversary celebrations in Philadelphia in July 2026!

As the ONLY ENGLISH band invited, we will proudly take part in a series of prestigious events, including America’s longest-running 4th of July parade—the Grand Glorious Patriotic Parade.

This is an incredible honour, but we need your help to make it happen.

Why We Need Your Support

We need to raise as much as possible to help cover:

✅ Travel & accommodation for our young musicians

✅ New instruments to help us perform at our very best

✅ New uniforms so we can represent the UK with pride

About the Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps (RDTC)

We are a passionate, community-driven youth marching band based in East London, providing music education and performance opportunities at no cost to our members.

Our Prestigious Performance History

We are honoured to have performed at some of the UK’s most high-profile events in the last year, including:

✨ The Lord Mayor’s Show (where we are regular participants)

✨ HRH The Princess of Wales’ Christmas Carol Concert at Westminster Abbey

✨ The London New Year’s Day Parade

✨ London Band Week, where we performed at the ExCeL Centre & Hampton Court Palace alongside top international bands

How You Can Help

Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to making this trip a reality. We have been holding a series of fundraising events to help reach our target and have more planned for the coming year. Your support will give our young musicians a chance to showcase their talent on the world stage and make history as the only English band in this monumental celebration!

Please donate & share our campaign today! Let’s make 2026 a year to remember for the Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps!
