Ac Finchley Fundraising for Defibrillator

At AC Finchley we are seeking to raise funds to provide a defibrillator for each of the facilities that we use for training and matches including Finchley Catholic High School. Millbrook Park Primary School, Frith Manor Primary School, Livingstone Primary School and Old Cholmeleians Sports Ground.

Over 90% of sudden cardiac arrests in young athletes occur during or immediately after exercise. Every minute without CPR and use of a defibrillator reduces the chance of survival by 10%. By performing CPR and using a defibrillator until an ambulance arrives you can double the victim's chance of survival.

Not only will having access to a defibrillator benefit the players, parents and coaches of AC Finchley, it will also be beneficial for the schools and community venues that we use.
