Hello, I am Calvin Douglas Wallace. I am the Author & creator of PoetryArtByCalvin. I write some of the most divinely written intimate, passionate poems & prayers found outside of the Bible. I am an empathetic writer who loves to share his beliefs in faith, love, heartbreak & heartache of my own life experiences. My poems and prayers are unique. They are of truth. They are of life's simplest pleasures and desires. The desire to understand our beings & to understand our meanings. I have been writing for quite some time, 35 years.

I am trying to get my work out there for those of like minds to enjoy. For those deeply rooted in faith to share. I hope and pray to be able to raise funding to finally be able to publish and advertise my work on a larger scale. Previously, I have been releasing some of my works through KDP “Kindle Direct Publishing.” However, that’s only me scratching the surface with my work. I feel my divine catalog of works needs a wider and broader audience. An audience that can spread it more quickly and easily through a larger network.

I can only hope and pray the right persons or people find themselves reading this GoFundMe and want to invest in helping an artist get started! My writings are just the beginning of where I want to go! I want to preach and teach the glory of the Lord's story. I want to preach and teach my lessons learned in falling in & out of love, to finally finding my soulmate, to me finding my faith. I want to share my journey of being a sinner to walking with Christ, to finding and falling in love with my wife. A journey of a man who has fallen more times than he can count but always got back up to raise his daughter & his three stepkids to become honorable, functional, productive members of society, making their own ways and living the American dream! That’s my story and my hopes to be able to share it with the world in a published book. My life’s like an onion with so many layers to cry to, but yet so many layers to flavor the glory of my story!
