Making Waves: DDO U18 Boys Headed to Nationals!

For the first time since 2018, the Dollard-des-Ormeaux ("DDO") U18 Boys Water Polo Team has earned a spot at Nationals — and we’re extremely proud to announce that the team will be heading to Calgary for the NCL Finals, June 5-7.

This achievement is the result of years of hard work, early mornings, late nights, and an unshakable team spirit supported by the great coaching staff. These boys have grown up together in and out of the pool, pushing each other to be stronger, faster, and smarter with every match. After a season of grit, determination, and unforgettable moments, they’ve made history — and now they need your help to finish the journey.

Nationals is more than just a tournament. It’s an opportunity to represent our club and community on the national stage, to learn from the best, and to show what DDO is made of.

Funds raised will help cover travel, accommodations, tournament fees, and team expenses. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to Calgary and one step closer to a dream realized.

DDO History

Since its inception in 1985, Dollard-des-Ormeaux ("DDO") Water Polo has been a pioneer in the development of young athletes in Canada. The club offers aspiring players between the ages of 8 and 30 the opportunity to participate in regional, provincial and national competitions throughout the winter months.

DDO Water Polo is a non-profit youth athletics organization that strives to develop outstanding athletes who embody a tradition of excellence in all facets of their life from the community to the classroom and finally, in the pool.
