Each day, I face the reality of a dream slipping away – the dream of hearing a child call me "Mom." This dream isn't just about wanting a baby; it's about the deep, primal ache of unfulfilled motherhood that follows me everywhere I go.

Our journey to build our family has been one of hope, heartbreak, and unwavering determination. After finding each other later in life and creating a beautiful blended family, my husband, Aaron, and I now face our greatest challenge together – infertility. Time isn't on our side, but we refuse to give up on our dream of bringing a child into this world together.

Our Story

When we met, Aaron and I both knew we’d found something special.

As a former professor, I spent years pouring my heart into helping students grow and thrive. And Aaron, already a loving father of three, showed me what family truly means.

Together, we've created a home filled with love. I’ve embraced being a stepmother to his wonderful children, but there's still a piece missing – the chance to raise a child of our own. Someone to call me “Mom,” not “Megan.”

We've spent the past three years trying to conceive. I have tried everything: working with a personal trainer and changing my diet, Ozempic to lose weight, taking fertility medication like Clomid, meditation for relaxation, and even giving up a career I loved for one with less stress. Despite it all, we're still waiting for our miracle.

Why We Need Your Help

IVF is our best chance at pregnancy, but financially, it’s out of reach.

Although we both work hard and have stable careers; we are still managing student debt and the legal fees we incurred to secure Aaron’s visitation rights with his children. While these costs are essential, they have made it impossible for us to afford IVF on our own.

I also struggle with PCOS, making conceiving naturally tricky and just out of reach.
