Hi everyone,

This July, I have the opportunity to compete at the 2026 Trampoline World Cups in Portugal — a moment that represents far more than just competition. It’s a chance to step back onto the international stage, represent my country with pride, and continue a journey that I walked away from nearly a decade ago.

At 32 years old, I’ve returned to elite trampoline after an 8-year retirement. In less than a year back in the sport, I recently competed at the New Zealand Trials, where I achieved the qualification score required for international competition — now pending final selection in April.

This opportunity doesn’t stop there. Competing at these World Cups also opens the door to qualifying for the 2026 World Championships in China — a goal that once felt out of reach, and now feels possible again.

The reality is, representing your country at this level comes with significant personal cost. The total expenses for this campaign are estimated to be around $15,000 AUD, covering travel to Portugal, accommodation, competition fees, training, competition uniform and recovery.

But this journey is about more than just me.

I came back to this sport not only for the pride of wearing my country’s colours again, but to push my own limits and prove that it’s never too late to chase something meaningful. I want to show younger athletes that there is longevity in sport, that setbacks don’t define you, and that you can always come back stronger.

I’m also deeply passionate about being an advocate for athletes — especially when it comes to mental health. Sport has been a powerful, positive force in my life, and I want to use my journey to show others that even through challenges, growth is always possible.

In many ways, this comeback is about giving my younger self the chance to thrive — and showing others that they can do the same.
