My dear friend John Higuera was diagnosed in March  with stage 3 colorectal cancer. He has gone through 6 weeks of radiation/Chemo therapy treatments  to shrink the tumor in order to proceed with his surgery this Monday July 16th.  We are hoping and praying that the Scripps doctors can remove the cancer completely so he can proceed with further treatments.  John, his wife Dawn, and his children have remained strong the last few months, but now is the time they need our help. They will be traveling back and forth to San Diego for the surgery and follow up appointments. During this difficult time, they could really use our help with medical and  travel expenses as he continues his treatment.
