My name is Fred Tubula Masago. I’m from a village near Ngoswani in the Masai Mara in Kenya. My brother, Simon, and I have been working for the past two years to bring water to Ngoswani. My family and members of my village must walk many Kilometers each way to get water every day during the drought season (which is most of the year). Please give generously today to help dig a well for my village.  They deserve closer, clean water now.

My brother Simon explains:  "The biggest challenge is for the small villages outlying  5+km away, especially west of Ngoswani.  During drought times (most of the year) mammas must get water each day - walking many km to and from the borehole, carry 20 liters on their backs supported by a strap across their forehead. If a family has many children, she may have to make several trips.  This water is used for drinking, cooking, washing, and bathing."

We plan to use the money to hire Borehole Masters drilling company to drill the well. (http://boreholedrillingkenya.com/)

We appreciate any and all donations to our project.

Thank you!

Below are a few pictures from my village.

I also would like you to know that I invited/added Elizabeth Widdicombe to help with the funds withdraw since I did not have a functional bank account at the time.

Thank you for your understanding.
