My Journey Thru the South Pacific

Hi! My name is November Kiahtipes and I am a junior at Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, California. My biggest priority, other than school, is community service.  I am one of the founders of the Difference Makers Club at my high school. Our mission is to honor and appreciate people of all ages to make the world a better place for ourselves and others. Some of our service projects include producing an anti-bullying fashion show, hosting a Dream Fair that encouraged youger kids to follow their dreams, and creating care packages for the homeless. 

I was recently accepted as a People to People Student Ambassador, which will provide the opportunity for me to travel with a group of other students to Austrailia, Fiji, and New Zealand. This trip is going to help me take my leadership and community service skills to a global level as we will be doing a service project to help replant a Fijian forest, among other things. I will also have the opportunity to learn about other cultures. I see this trip as an opportunity for self-growth and to further develop my leadership skills, which I will put to use in my Difference Makers Club upon my return. 

I would be eternally grateful for any monetary support you can provide to help make my dream of travelling abroad come true.
