Fox Royale Tour Bus
“Greetings! This is Fox Royale! We're a young indie rock band that’s so grateful to be back on road in 2021.
It’s been great! Except for our bus. His name is Edgar. Edgar is STRUGGLING. And WE NEED YOUR HELP.
In the midst of a long tour schedule, our original two-part van maintenance plan (some duct tape and even more prayer) just isn't cutting it anymore. We have been STRANDED 3 times this year on the road, and while, thankfully, we have not missed a show yet, we have been cutting it close!
With over half of our 75 shows still to come in 2021, it’s time to FIX THE BUS.
The upcoming fall tour requires a reliable vehicle to get us to all the shows booked across the country. We value the time, commitment, and expectations of every venue we play and every listener who comes to our show. So we need to professionally and confidently transport our crew and equipment.
This GoFundMe is designed to make Edgar the Bus a road warrior for the long-term.
Our total goal is $12,200, which provides a rebuilt engine, a new transmission, new A/C, 2 new tires and underwrite the bunk beds installation that allows us to sleep in the van on the road, saving tons of money in hotel expenses.
Here’s a breakdown of what Edgar needs:
Rebuilt Engine - $4500
Transmission - $3500
New A/C - $1800
Bunks - $1400 ($330/each)
Tires - $1000 ($250/each)
We have run the numbers and this is a better route than buying another bus. And we would hate to see Edgar go.
