For the Coulibaly Family

Donation protected
**Campaign is Ended** We received official word that Djibril will be returning home tomorrow. Therefore, we have stopped accepting donations and are ending our campaign. However, we will keep this fundraiser active so that we can continue to give you updates. ************************************************** 19 years ago, Djibril Coulibaly came to Louisiana from Mali in order to promote French language in schools.  He and his wife settled in Opelousas, where their three sons were born. Mr. Coulibaly moved to Thibodaux in 2012, where he taught French and sometimes volunteered as a soccer coach.
Unfortunately, a former employer missed the deadline to renew his visa, and Mr. Coulibaly faces deportation.  Mr. Coulibaly is currently detained over two hours away from his family.  He has been an extraordinary educator and community member.  This is a beautiful family who deserves our help.  I created this GoFundMe so that the family can be supported for any needs they may have during this difficult time including groceries, rent, school supplies, etc.
Mr. Coulibaly has given so much of himself to our community.  Please consider donating and sharing this GoFundMe on social media.
