Hi everyone, my name is J’ Ma and ever since I was little I had a dream of becoming an actress.

It all began when I first watched Titanic as a child and hoped to one day I will get to act alongside my favourite actor, Leonardo DiCaprio.

My path to acting was far from easy. Growing up in an Asian family, I faced significant resistance to my career aspirations.

When I told my mum I wanted to act, she said it was impossible for someone like me. She even told me I wasn’t pretty enough, which broke my heart.” Despite the initial hurt, my mother now supports my acting and we have a close relationship I love my mum so much.

I finally took that first step to follow and chasing my dream in 2019 when I was going through a break up, at the time I thought the world was ending and nothing else mattered to me so I thought if I didn’t do something I always wanted to do I’d regret it for the rest of my life so I started my first acting class and never looked back.

Since then, I have done over 22 productions and worked hard ever since because it is my dream.

The last 6 months I have been putting together for an actors visa application to go to USA for acting. Through out this process I feel so blessed that so many people believed in me as I had to get so many documents together such as letters of recommendations from people I have worked with in the past, letters of intent, awards I have received, podcast interviews, articles about me and my projects and all the other legal documentation I had to get together.

I have also spent a lot of money already towards the retainer fee of lawyer and fees that’s involved.

I now have everything together and is just at the very last stretch to complete the application, which is the final application fee.

It would be amazing if you could assist me with any amount towards it. It helps.

I know God will lead me and guide this process. And please also pray for me that opportunities will arise for me to Christian and faith based films.
