Help Support Hannah and Jessie After the Loss of Baby Sawyer (Soy Sauce)

Hi everyone,

My name is Olivia, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my dear friend Hannah and her husband, Jessie. In the early morning hours of Monday, May 5th, 2025, Hannah’s world changed forever when her beautiful daughter, Sawyer, tragically passed away. Despite the medical team’s efforts to revive her for 45 minutes, she couldn’t be saved. The pain of that morning will never leave us.

I met Hannah through a March 2025 baby group — a group that started with 30 expectant moms and slowly became a tight-knit circle of just 9 of us. Together, we navigated the ups and downs of pregnancy, becoming each other’s biggest cheerleaders, confidants, and friends.

We were all in awe when Hannah shared the news that she was expecting naturally conceived triplets — a miracle in every sense. Throughout her pregnancy, we joked about “the trippys,” celebrated her milestones, and cheered her on as she completed her nursing degree. When she was diagnosed with preeclampsia, we waited anxiously, praying for the safe arrival of her babies.

And then, on January 28th, Hannah gave birth to three beautiful children:
• Sawyer, a girl, 5 lb 6 oz
• Lennox, a girl, 5 lb 10 oz
• Boden, a boy, 4 lb 9 oz

We cried tears of joy as they arrived earthside and stood by Hannah as they spent time in the NICU. And when she brought them home, it felt like pure magic.

Hannah is an extraordinary mother to nine children, and just last week, she started a new chapter — bravely moving her family to a new state to pursue her dream job as an ICU nurse. Her courage and strength left us all in awe.

But no one could have imagined the heartbreak that would follow.

The loss of Sawyer has devastated us all. Our hearts ache for her siblings — Sahara, Skylah, Beckett, Emerson, Paxton, Aspen, Lennox, and Boden — and for her incredible parents who are navigating unimaginable grief.

In this time of deep sorrow, we want to do everything we can to support Hannah and Jessie. We’re raising $5,000 to help ease the immediate financial burdens they face — from lost income, to meals, to basic needs as they grieve and care for their large and loving family.

Every dollar will go directly to Hannah and Jessie to provide space and support during this unthinkable time. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser — even a few words can go a long way in helping us lift them up.

Let’s rally around this beautiful family with love, compassion, and community. Sawyer was so deeply loved — and she always will be.

With love and gratitude,
Olivia
