My family is struggling financially

Hi my name is Michelle . I am the granddaughter who is asking for help . In the picture , beside my grandma is my mom, who has been by her side as my grandma’s caretaker for over 20 years . I grew up with my grandma . My family’s salary is dependent on my mom’s job as caretaker . My mom has worked for a long time but now suddenly the worst has happened . Not only have we lost my grandma , we have lost the main source of income . Please help us to pay for her funeral. My grandma has always inspired me to persevere and have faith always . Sometimes she sings songs I have never heard . But they all come from a long time ago . Simple songs that offer a message of hope and peace while acknowledging suffering . I cannot imagine what she went through. She was born in 1934 , to Christian parents . She and Her family endured starvation , war , and no freedom . Her father died from Tuberculosis, but her mom remarried again . Moldova was under communist rule , when Christianity was mocked and suppressed. One of Bunica’s dads was even forced to walk with his hands tied behind his back while the Communists removed his belt that kept his pants up . He had to walk for miles like that . This was a way to embarrass Christians for their faith . My grandma went to school and received a small loaf of bread . While everyone else was eating their bread , she kept this bread for her 6 siblings at home . She learned how to share against impossible odds . when she had her own family , she saved everything so that her family could always have enough.Bunica married my grandpa , who had also gone through horrible famine and lost his brother , and parents by the time he was twelve . He became a Christian when one missionary gave him Pilgrim Progress to read . Although they endured much , they were one of the most successful people in their village . Their family had 4 children who were taught about the Christian faith and also went through smaller embarrassment from Communist teachers . When my mom was born , my grandma said to her ,” These tiny hands will lead me as I grow old . “ Very soon my Granma was experiencing unusual worries . She already endured a lot and it was affecting her mental health . She went to doctors , but nothing seemed to come out of it . Soon , My mom moved with her parents to America . It was very hard to leave behind all they worked for to live in an unknown country . IT was hard for them to adapt . Unfortunately my grandpa died from Kindney failure five year after coming to America caused by neglect from his doctor who gave him medicine for his Alzheimer's disease but was too slow to save his kindneys . But now He is in heaven . My grandma has lived ever since then . My mom was the primary one who took care of them while herself was trying to raise her own family . Now here is where I come in . Most of these story’s are told by my mom . But I know they are true . My grandma may have dementia but sometimes she reveals the past by singing these sweet songs learned during such a difficult time . My grandma still sings even though her elderly life is very difficult. Her worn-out face with constant skin cancers tells me of her long work in the fields with no sunscreen . Her blue eyes tell me what hard things they had to see but yet they are full of faith .My grandma reminds me like how the early Christians were . Suffering yet patiently holding their faith until the Lord comes and takes them home .
