Flourish Christmas 2022 Fundraiser

Flourish is a local charity supporting girls from all walks of life, who are dealing with anxiety, pressures, low self-esteem and issues that are holding them back from being where they want to be.

We believe every girl has the potential to lead a full and happy life – to flourish. Growing up can be challenging, and at times feel overwhelming and lonely. Our approach is to make young girls feel heard, known, seen and supported.

Flourish works locally to support girls aged 11 to 18 with their self-esteem and emotional wellbeing. The support that we offer takes place in schools and the community with a team of incredible local women who volunteer their time to support the needs of the girls in the area.

We support girls through personalised programmes and resources crafted by Flourish to drive effective one-to-one mentoring and group sessions that lead to positive mental wellbeing, higher self-esteem and help young girls to flourish.

Flourish is looking to raise £3600 this Christmas to fund 50 sessions supporting local girls through our transformative group programmes and one-to-one mentoring. To do this, we are holding a wreath-making event, a raffle and are also seeking donations from anyone who feels passionately about supporting our much-needed work.

Here's what your generous donations could fund:

- £5 to take a call from a parent or carer to discuss their young person's wellbeing and their needs

- £10 provides two girls with a toolkit resource on our Rebuild programme

- £20 provides resources for one of our amazing mentors

- £30 to create a Flourish Mentoring Guide for our mentors to use in their weekly sessions with girls

- £65 - 75 (we can choose the amount we want as it can vary!) to run a FAB (Flourish Advisory Board) session to involve girls in the development of our programmes

- £150 funds a session for 8 girls on one of our two group programmes the Flourish course or Flourish Rebuild

- a monthly donation of £33 would, over the year, enable one girl to receive a full programme of one-to-one mentoring tailored to their needs. (Please contact us separately or visit our website if you would like to sign up as a monthly donor).
