Hello to all! My name is Connie Kirby and I met Latonya Wallace through Grizz Nation over 5 years ago. We LOVE our NBA franchise in Memphis, TN. Tonya and I quickly became close friends! Grizz Nation has cultivated a family atmosphere between Tonya and myself, and plenty of others.
When Tonya and her daughter, Kai Jordan, gave us the word that they were moving to Louisiana, we were all devastated! We knew that they would truly be missed.
Latonya Wallace and Glenn McCullough, along with the rest of their family are victims of the Flooding Disaster in Denham Springs, LA near Baton Rouge. They have lost EVERYTHING in this disaster. They live on the first floor of their apartments. The water was up to the bedroom windows on Saturday morning, August 13th. The rain continued to fall all day and night and will last through Sunday evening.
Everything is destroyed.
They DO NOT have Flood insurance. They have Renters insurance, but it does not cover floods.
Some of our friends from Grizz Nation decided that we would have to do something to assist Tonya and her family in recouping some of their possessions. We decided that the Go Fund Me was the best method to assist them as quickly as possible.
They are in need of any assistance that can be provided by friends, family, or anyone who would like to help! ANY donation will be greatly appreciated!
This fund is set up to give Latonya Wallace direct access to withdraw the donated funds.
