It is with a heavy heart that I ask for help supporting my family + local communities in Poza Rica, Veracruz. On 10/12 flood waters ravaged the town, leaving folks with minutes to escape rushing waters. Many didn’t survive, and I’m am so thankful my family and neighbors are safe.

however, the whole town has been effectively wiped away and you can imagine rations of food, water, PPE, and clothing are scarce and provided by other community members. With little to no government oversight, it is clear that it will be up to the people to make things work.

I am asking for monetary donations so that I can personally purchase supplies at the US-Mexico border, and ultimately transport them all the way south to Poza Rica.
