Flood Relief For Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Philippines
My husband’s family evacuated from the flood stricken city of Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Philippines because of the increasing flood level. The Mateos and their neighbors havebeen dispersed due to the unsafe situation. Typhoon Ulysses hit the city hard and flooded the entire Cagayan province. But it did not stop from there. Magat dam, one of the biggest in the Philippines couldn’t hold so much water so they released tons and tons of water to the province flooding more cities even reaching their roofs.
Seeing my 84 years old lola(grandma)-in-law getting carried to a safer place, my husband’s cousin who recently gave birth via C-section evacuating with her newborn baby, my sister in law’s pastry business in ruins... I just couldn’t help but to take some actions.
We are reaching out to your hearts to help the community and TUGUEGARAOENOS to rebuild their lives back up. My husband’s sister, Mildred, will be distributing your donations to those who are in immediate need.
I know everyone is financially tight right now due to the current pandemic but any support can go far to the devastated families.
If we could ask for any support, greatly appreciated with all our hearts.
