Monday started out as a pretty terrible day for Fiona, her car had been broken into and her work backpack was stolen.  Not a great way to start her week, but as the day came to a close, things got even worse. 

Around 11pm, she and Steph had to evacuate.  They grabbed a few clothes, the essentials (Jack!) and little else as they left their home.

Tuesday morning, with a couple hours sleep, Fiona was in the office helping our teams and their families affected by the fires find food and temporary shelter.  In the midst of this, she and Steph found out their home had been lost to the Thomas fire. 
Their entire neighborhood, their house and all of their belongings, gone within a few hours.
 
So many of us have been inspired, encouraged, mentored and cared for by Fiona. Individually and as a couple, they make friends wherever they go and to spend time with them is first and foremost to laugh and then to know someone truly cares about you. 

This team is a part of their family and as she and Steph feel this monumental loss, we grieve with them and we look for ways we can help.
