We are Mike and Cana, and we are adopting!

We are just starting the process, which means we are having to save up a lot of money as we start to walk this path to parenthood through adoption.  

The average cost of an adoption can be anywhere between $20,000-$50,000 depending on the method and type of adoption. None of this money is actually paying for the child (that comes after you get the child), but rather, it covers the cost of homestudies, lawyers, paperwork, and whatever organizations are involved in the process.

What we are hoping to save and raise is just $15,000. This will help us cover the bare minimum of our adoption.

We aren't asking for a specific amount from every person, and we aren't asking for y'all to give us all of it. What we are asking for is help, and every little bit is a step closer for us reaching our goal of having children.
