Financial Help Towards Vity

Hi everyone,

I first got diagnosis with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma back in 2017 and had undergone both chemotherapy and radiation treatment. The combination of the two therapy was able to shrink the tumor to where it could be surgically removed. Since then, I’ve been in remission and decided it was time to start my family. My wife and I were blessed with a pregnancy in early fall last year and expected our first child in June 2022. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, she had a blighted ovum that eventually led to a miscarriage later that year, and the news devasted us. It took a few months, but we finally found the courage to start trying again in January 2022.

Unfortunately, I was given the unsettling news during my annual cancer screening that my cancer had reoccurred. This time it was located between my throat and nasal cavity. However, it was small enough that surgery was possible, and I had it surgically removed in April of 2022. A week after my surgery, my wife and I discovered we were pregnant.

In August, during my post-op, it was discovered that the tumor had reoccurred, this time bigger than ever. Within a month, my tumor tripled in size and was now visible in the back of my throat. Since my previous surgery could not successfully treat the tumor, I had to undergo seven weeks of radiation treatment. If radiation is unsuccessful, I will need to follow up with chemotherapy early next year.

With my first child on the way and physically incapacitated due to my treatments, I am asking my friends and family for financial assistance to help get us through the next few months.
