Aboriginal Culture Camps

Koori Kinnections is a small 100% owned and run business based in Sydney, and we are looking to start an Aboriginal Culture Camp in Sydney that will be open to all. These camps will educate people about the environment, our cultures, history, traditional use of plants and animals, as well as our spiritual connection with the environment. The camps will have a range of cultural activities such as bushfood cooking, visiting and interpreting Local Aboriginal sites and important places, making artefacts, and traditional weaving sessions. The funds we raise will go towards camping equipment, cooking equiptment, kayaks, insurances, cultural resources and employment for local Aboriginal youth. We will be offering the camps to all, including tourists. The profits made from the regular camps will go towards running free camps throughout the year to youth at risk, local community, children in care, and Aboriginal outreach groups.
