Needs surgery

Hi my name is Robert and this is my dog Shadow he is only 7 years old and my best friend and he needs surgery for his dislocated disc in his back. He is loved my me, my wife, my son and his older sister Belle she is 11 years old and also a basset hound. When he was a puppy we had to heat up his blankets in the dryer just to get him to fall asleep in a little pack and play. He's got so much character and he loves everyone just a little bit of attention goes a long way. Growing up he had such long ears he tripped over them. When he has an accident he puts himself in time out. When it's 8:00 at night he puts himself to bed and even tucks himself in. He will do anything for a tennis balls and cheeseburgers. He means the world to my family and I. We have been through a lot with him and we can't let him down now he's too young so whoever sees our story I hope you can please help us keep up our best friend alive.
