Father of six killed in apartment fire, Largo MD

On July 2, 2024, my father Andrá King died at the age of 41 in an apartment fire in Largo, Md. By the Grace of God, the EMD’s informed me that my father saved the 8 year old boy (out of respect for his family I will not provide his name) who was also in the apartment and taken to the hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, my father and his friend did not survive. We lost our father. Who was so funny and full of life! He would help anyone in need if he could.
We are asking for everyone to keep the King & Hemphill families in your prayers. We also ask for a donation of any kind to help raise money to pay for the costs to lay him to rest and help offset the bills we may now face after this unexpected tragedy.
