Fanisi Saves Children & Parents in Tanzania

Thank you for helping Fanisi Tanzania! It means a great deal to our team working to raise funds for this wonderful NGO dedicated uniquely in East Africa to early family intervention among Mwanza’s communities. Your donation will be used to pay Fanisi’s therapists and interventionists to help families break the cycle of misfortune for the most vulnerable children and families. When society fails children, it’s often at home that problems can intensify, becoming very painful and sometimes dangerous. Fanisi identifies children at high risk of abuse and/or neglect to educate and help parents/caregivers in positive parenting skills for a safe, improved home environment. Currently working with 750 families, they work directly with parents to heal their early traumas and reduce the likelihood that such trauma is repeated while raising their children. They also work with the children directly, who have often already experienced domestic violence. Kissa Rogers Mwangosi, founder of Fanisi Tanzania, needs funds at this time to support parent psychoeducation classes, and family-focused therapeutic intervention.https://www.fanisitanzania.com
