Family’s - displaced due to flooding

2021.

A hard year.

From June 30th evacuated and working on ESS for the month of July and August due to fires. November 15 being evacuated again due to floods.

ESS - is backlogged and anything you purchase prior to your assessment will not be reimbursed. A little more warning for some then others. Order came at 10 am and left by 10:45. Some friends and family did not have this time.

3 different Kamloops workers had called all ignoring my demand for room. Incidentals. Food. I myself have a family of 5 and Sitting in parking lots is not ideal in the winter or anytime.

I want to remind anyone displaced - This service is for YOU not the workers, workers are not paying for this out of pocket it’s just pieces of paper they fill out. I have helped so many in ESS of the fires - I will help you here if you need it too.

It’s not an option - you don’t choose to be evacuated and leave the comfort of your home. I guarantee there are things you forgot or thought you had or which you had - it’s now snowing here
