We are the Falcons U16 Regional Netball Team, proudly competing in the Netball South England Regional League. Our players work hard every week in training and matches, showing determination, teamwork, and passion for the sport we love.
This October, we face an important challenge – and we need your support to make it happen.
✈️ The Challenge Ahead
On 18–19 October 2025, we have a compulsory away fixture against the Guernsey Panthers in Guernsey. This fixture is part of our official league commitments, and attending is essential for us to remain competitive and represent our region at the highest level.
Travelling overseas as a full squad, along with coaches and support staff, comes with significant costs. We are a grassroots club, and unlike professional teams, we don’t have big sponsorship deals to cover travel and accommodation. While Netball South cover 50% of players and coaches flights and hotel costs all the other expenses need to be paid for by the players and families. It's a lot!
Why We’re Fundraising
We would love to raising £2000 towards the costs including:
Flights and travel for players, coaches, and equipment ✈️
Accommodation during the fixture weekend
Travel within Guernsey to and from the fixtures and airport.
Essential match and training costs
This support will ensure that every player can take part, regardless of financial background, and that we can proudly fulfil our league obligations to the best of our abilities.
How You Can Help
Sponsor our Goal-a-thon in Guernsey. Motivate our team to score lots of goals and help us source the £2000 we are hoping to fundraise.
For each goal we score you could donate .10p, .50p or even ££'s, we will keep you updated over the weekend with the goals we score and you can join in celebrating our success while also assisting us with our fundraising. Every contribution goes directly towards our travel and match costs.
Or you could just donate a flat fee regardless of goals scored - no donation is too small!
