Lisa's Flood Damage Recovery

My mom spent the last week visiting family, and when she came home Monday night, there wasn't much left. Her entire street had been flooded, and many people from her neighborhood had died. My mom's apartment was on the bottom floor, and when the lake near her house overflowed, it broke a dam. Rushing waters destroyed her apartment, among others.  This damage included all furniture, food, and almost all of her clothes. Her bed, dressers, closet, and all electronics. Her most cherishable items, such as family photos she's had for years, were destroyed.  We are thankful she wasn't there when the waters rushed in, and that she wasn't physically harmed. This fundme page is to help raise money to replace the items she needs, such as clothes, food, a new bed, and a laptop for work. Unfortunately, since flooding is so "rare", it is the only natural disaster that her renters insurance does not cover. Please if you can help, even if it only a few dollars, please donate.
