hello everyone,

My name is Mia McGee and my father Chistopher McGee was diagnosed with metastatic signet-ring cell carcinoma this past September after undergoing surgery and having a large mass removed towards the end of July, this is an extremely rare and aggressive form of colon cancer which has spread to the peritoneum bringing it to be stage four. My dad is my very best friend, this was all very sudden and unexpected.

Our family has experienced so much loss over the past few years, what was supposed to be a time of healing and grievance has been filled with worries. My mother passed away in 2020 and while I am 19 I do work and attend college full time, I have created this GoFund me in hopes of raising money to help support my father and his medical expenses while he is unable to work and undergoing extensive treatments.

My dad is one of the hardest working , supportive, kindest people i have ever met. We are beyond greatful for any donations, prayers, and thoughts while he is undergoing treatments. Thank you for supporting my daddy as we fight through this.

Update: Dad's appetite has been getting better as we have started the second round of chemo. We are beyond grateful for everyone who has reached out, shared, and donated.
