Help Roger with Medical Expenses

My name is Roger Robertson, I am a husband and father of two teenagers and I recently had the scare of my life when I was hospitalized with Jaundice and Pancreatitis. While still grieving my brother's passing just 2 months ago, who was also suddenly hospitalized the week before he died, you can just imagine how terrifying and traumatizing this was for my family and I.

After weeks of suffering from pain and going to multiple doctors who treated me for acid reflux and anxiety which didn't seem to be getting any better. One day the pain reached an unbearable point causing me to be rushed to the hospital only to learn that a gallstone was stuck in a tube causing blockage to my pancreas which led to my pancreas becoming inflamed and resulting in me having pancreatitis which then caused the jaundice.

To correct the medical condition and save my life, emergency surgery was needed to remove the stone and clear the blockage. Attempts were made to get this done through our public hospital, but if you know anything about T&T's public hospitals you will understand why this attempt was a failure. Due to the urgency of the matter, we were unable to wait for the public hospital to ward and treat me which resulted in me being warded at the St. Augustine Private Hospital for six days to be treated and operated on. Furthermore, another surgery was recommended in 3 weeks time by the hospital to now have my gallbladder removed to prevent this same blockage from reoccurring.

It is common knowledge how fast the bills at a private hospital can rack up with scans, testing, medication and especially when surgery is involved and we have tried our best to pool together all the savings and funds we had in place to cover as much as possible, but unfortunately, after exhausting all my resources, I am still unable to make up the total amount needed to clear the debt I have now been plunged into.

Life comes at you fast and I honestly never thought I would be in this predicament where I would have to be asking for help especially so soon after asking for assistance with my brother's medical emergency, but I won't be asking if I didn't honestly and deeply need the help.

With all that being said, if you are in a position to help contribute towards my medical expenses, you have my heartfelt gratitude. If you are unable to, it's understandable and your well wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery will be just as valuable.
