More Information: Every year at Thanksgiving we deliver homemade holiday meals to those going without.

Last year we delivered over 600 meals across LA; sending full Thanksgiving meals to over 15 families, filling community fridge's, and assisting shelters feed and serve from San Pedro to Santa Clarita. Our main effort was delivering over 400 meals on Thanksgiving morning to Feed Skid in Skid Row.

This year we will be hosting our annual event on Wednesday, 11/23, and invite you to join.

We aim to serve 1000 this year, with our main efforts going towards Feed the Streets on Thanksgiving Day. They will be serving 500+ and Every Day Action will be providing ALL of the food for their event.

We need home cooks to cook, donate, and deliver the following:

Mashed Potatoes

Yams

Stuffing

Turkey

Green Beans

Brussel Sprouts

Rolls

Pie

If you would like to join, please RSVP by responding with one or two items you would like to cook and donate.

ALL ITEMS NEED TO BE DELIVERED TO ENCINO BETWEEN 6P AND 10P ON WED 11/23.

Cooking not your thing? We also need food superheroes to help deliver meals both Wednesday 11/23 and the morning of Thursday 11/24. If you would like to donate an hour or two of your time delivering holiday meals please let us know!

Lastly, if you are not in the area but would still like to participate, we accept donations of water bottles, monetary, and grub hub meals delivered for the event. (Several board members last year sent us prepared Thanksgiving dinners from Dennys.) Please let us know if you need more info to participate remotely- we need to raise about $3000 for this event.
